Product Data Retention Notice
This notice describes the data Moreau Cloud collects, how it is retained, and what happens when you delete your account.
1. Data We Collect
When you use Moreau Cloud, we collect and store the following:
- Account information — email address, hashed password, account creation date, and Terms of Service acceptance date.
- Billing information — Stripe customer ID (if applicable) and usage-based spending records.
- Environment records — type, GPU tier, launch and stop timestamps, tunnel URLs, and computed cost for each environment session.
- Feedback — subjects, messages, and file attachments you submit through the feedback form.
2. What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you delete your account through the Settings page, Moreau Cloud performs the following actions:
- Your user record, password hash, and active sessions are permanently deleted.
- Your environment records are disassociated from your identity (the user link is removed).
- Any feedback you submitted is anonymized — the messages are retained but are no longer linked to your account.
- A limited archival record is retained for legal and abuse-prevention purposes. This record includes: your email address, account creation date, deletion date, Terms of Service acceptance information, Stripe customer ID (if any), total spending, environment count, and aggregate GPU usage.
You must stop all running environments before deleting your account.
3. Why We Retain an Archival Record
The archival record is retained to comply with our legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and prevent abuse. The archival record does not include your password or any environment data contents.
